Its all a façade
Everybody catching bods
But despite all the company we keep
No one seems to say anything too deep
Everyone is in some kind of pain
But don’t no one know how to explain
What goes on inside of their hearts
Everyone around them ain’t doing their part
It takes a village to raise kids
But for people to help each other it seems like God forbids
They don’t wanna see you doing better than them
But we can all be crème de la crème
In our own paths and lanes we create
Can’t we see, we can all be great
Theres a place for each and everyone of us
Money to be made, out here it’s a surplus
But everyone trying to be like the next
Posing for IG, only focused on showing up their ex
We lost sight of what really matters
Seeing all the lost souls, my heart shatters
Praying for the simpler times
When we weren’t over exposed to each other’s crimes
Back in the day when didn’t have 1000 people at our fingertips
As soon as a problem arises, we jumping ships
On to the next one
You barely got to know son
I wish we could all just listen to each other
Understand that we’re all somebody’s sister or brother
That we all have our own story to tell
That we all have our own battles through hell
We all have our demons and fears
We all pushing through emotions and tears
